As soon as you get your mail, sort it out. Put your bills all together and sort the rest so you will know where it is. Get rid of any junk mail you don't need. That way you will not have a buildup that is overwhelming! Thanks for the great giveaway -hope I am lucky enough to be picked.

We homeschool and have to have an assessment where we show our work. Each year it was a struggle to find all the art projects and other cool things we did. Now I keep a paper sorter on a bookshelf where the kids put their work into their slot after school so I always know where everything is when it's time to make our scrapbook!

Sorry, I forgot to add my organizational tip. I attached a clear plastic hook next to my front door, and I use a binder clip to clip together whatever I might need to take with me. I'll put a lab slip for the next day's blood test there so I'll be reminded to fast that night, or I'll clip checks that need to be deposited the next day or mail to mail. It's been a big help for me. When I don't need to clip anything there, I put the binder clip in a drawer near the door, and you wouldn't even know the clear plastic hook was there.

My favorite organization tip is planning what I need for groceries at the beginning of the week. Saves me from running to the store so many times.

To be organized and stay organized, I spend 10 minutes a day to put everything where they belong.

I keep a calendar where my coffee and tea are to start the day and have everything on there. I keep cupboards unclutered to find things easily. I try to throw something out every day so stuff doesn't pile up.

My best tip is: Throw stuff away. Do not keep old mail to look at later, get rid of junk immediately!

I make a list of everything that needs to be done. When I complete one of the items I cross it off the list. I also keep paper and a pen close by incase I think of something else that needs to done...so I can add it to the list.

My husband and I try to get rid of junk mail as soon as it comes in. We also try to keep a filing system of paper items that come into the house that we might need later. The key to the paper filing system is purging the paper items we find we don't need. Thanks for the great giveaway.

I try to break tasks up into managable steps so organizing doesn't seem so overwhelming.
